$1 Mega Guides

by D0M1N8R on Apr.08, 2010, under Interesting finds, Knowledge, Random News, Recommendations, Uncategorized

Im not usually someone to help advertise a sale but thought this may be worth mentioning if your a geek like me. At this price though even if you have a remote interest in some tech you may just want to get one to scim through.
This is a 24 hour sale so hurry up. I’ve already ordered about 30 guides at this price and my past experience with their guides was part of my studies for Network+, Security+, and CCNA and found them to be helpful but failed my CCNA due to limitations with emulator at test center which has nothing to do with Mega Guide.

HP C3180 RIP

by D0M1N8R on May.21, 2009, under Recommendations, Software, Uncategorized

When you come across a printer that costs less than the print cartridges you grab it and run. Such was the case when I purchased my HP C3180 for $25. I actually grabbed upon two of them and when the first one ran out of ink about a year and a half ago I simply tossed it out and hooked up the second printer. Now the second printer is about to go in the trash only this time it’s not because it ran out of ink, but instead the scanner portion of the printer has quit working.
Thought I would share my experience with the HP products in general that has accumulated both through ownership and to support in the technical field.
